This is the most amazing group of people I've ever had the pleasure of working out with. They encourage each other and it feels like your part of something bigger then yourself. I can't begin to give Mat enough credit. I am completely out of shape and although there were so many other people there he took time to show me each set and was so patient with me.

Thank you Mat you and your group have really got me excited about changing my lifestyle so I can feel great again. What an amazing experience I can't wait to go back

For the last 7 weeks, I have been going to EXL Fitness and I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I started with a just a 30 day challenge, but now I go every single day. I actually get excited when I go to bed at night because I can’t wait to workout first thing in the morning. The small shifts in a few lifestyle choices I have made have yielded real results. The environment at EXL is very accepting and inviting, while at the same time motivates and challenges you. They foster a friendly team atmosphere where others support you and help you do your best. Classes are small, so you get a lot of help and attention. The equipment is plentiful and clean, and I honestly learn something new every workout. Mat is a great personal trainer who takes the time to get to know you, explains the why and how of exercises and nutrition, and helps you reach your own goals. He’s always demonstrating correct form and correcting you if you’re out of alignment. I love that by changing a few key habits, I have increased my level of energy, strength, and my happiness. I simply cannot say enough about how grateful I am to have found this place at this time in my life. It is worth the try if you’ve been looking for a place to get strong, reach your goals, and try new and challenging workouts each day. I highly recommend EXL Fitness. Mat Gover is awesome!

EXL has helped revive the athlete in me and, I think, really helped me save myself.

Personally, I have been working out and weight lifting for over 14 years now. I have pretty extensive experience, lifted a lot of weight, and have been fairly consistent (5-6 days a week at the gym) for a long time. I didn't join to get exercise help. About three years ago I started gaining weight and couldn't stop it. I tried all the diets, I was consistent on the gym, joined basketball leagues, did cardio, ran hills, you name it. Nothing worked. I got to where I felt I was at a crossroads and I would either fix it or maybe never get come back from it. That is when I met Mat and EXL. I did something I thought I'd never do and hired a trainer. :)

While I didn't need someone to tell me how to work out, I needed someone to help me fix this. Mat talked about my goals, listened to me, asked about my life/family/etc.. We worked together, I set my goals and plans and he helped me work to achieve them. We discovered, through some exploring, what I needed to change and what was contributing to my weight gain. (No, it wasn't just exercise and diet) I have lost weight, got exponentially stronger and felt better than I have felt in 3+ years. I feel the athlete in me is back.

I wasn't sure I'd ever feel right again, or get back to where I had been. I was the lowest I had been, but that has changed. I have EXL to thank for helping me put myself on the right track. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I started Mats boot camp program this week and it has been exactly what I have been needing. Not having been in a gym for pretty much the last 4 years combined with the weight I gained, I found myself struggling with a mental battle to get my self back to where I want to be physically. EXL has been so welcoming and really builds an environment that anyone and everyone at any fitness level (trust me I'm at rock bottom currently) will be so glad they took the leap of faith in themselves to walk though the doors and trust in Mats help. I found EXL because I was sitting in my truck in a parking lot eating a Betos burrito... when all of the sudden there were about 15 people running sprints in front of my truck... That was it. I knew I needed to do what they were doing. I'm exited to see what the future holds for me and my physical journey as I progress with EXLs help. Overcome your fear and give his program a try, you wont regret it!!

This is the best gym I have ever been involved with. Mat and his team genuinely care about you as an individual and will tailor everything to meet your personal situation. There is no judgement and the feeling in the gym is nothing but supportive. This is my gym for life.

I have learned and gained so much from Mat. He is amazing! I admit, I didn't understand his warm-up stretches at first, or some of his exercises, but he really is an expert who knows his craft. He lives and breathes it and it shows. I feel fantastic. My knee doesn't hurt playing basketball, my lower back hasn't given me any issues. He also provides creative challenges each week that have helped me into better life habits and incredible experiences. I bring my son with me and he loves it too. It's been an amazing opportunity to share with him. In fact, I would say I'm addicted to going now! I seriously can't get enough. I look better and feel better than I have in years. You gotta try it, you won't regret it, it will change your life!

This place changed my life!! The people are amazing and you won't find a better trainer anywhere else. It's definitely a place you can feel comfortable at.

Mat is an amazing trainer. He is great to work with in a group or individually. I love that he keeps me on track by giving me so much encouragement and helping me set goals.

EXL is the best gym I’ve ever had a membership at! Matt is great to work with, in both a group setting and a personal setting. He is a great motivator, always sending messages to come work out, or checking in on my nutrition. I joined EXL to tone my body, and the workouts Matt created we’re perfect for that! If I wasn’t able to do the workout accurately, he would always help me adjust it so I was still building the proper muscles, but in the right way for my body. If you need motivation, a workout that makes you feel accomplished, and a great setting, this is the gym for you!
